leverage ratio is the shocks travel compared to the rear wheel travel.

on my coiler it had a 2 inch stroke shock with 6 inch rear wheel travel, divide the 6 by 2 and it gives you 3:1-1 ratio.

the newer 07 model coiler run a 2.25 inch stroke shock but still maintained the 6 inch rear travel so the leverage went down to 2:66-1,in easier terms it just means you need a ever so slightly softer spring.

ah it's a pain the arse buying a bike, even more so when your laying down big money.

07 coilers had a lower leverage ratio too so that should help it feel bottomless.

Did you order both front and rear Juicy 3? Pity, but don't feel bad about it. It's just I and most friends of my had Juicy 3, OEM ones and aftermarket ones. The power and modulation isn't bad. That's not the problem. What is is the reliability, my set and several others had the problem that the lever kept getting loose so you had to pull the lever to the bars. Made me mad and kept coming back. Also the pads squeeled always, changed them several times but no progression. Ended selling them. But I hope we just had a faulty badge (don't think so) and the ones you get are better. But I wish you the best of luck with them. If you have anymore questions you can ask.
